Thank you for scheduling your donation!


Here are a few helpful suggestions to make things go smoothly:

  1. When gathering your items, keep a list of what you are donating and your best guess used value to attach to your tax receipt.
     
  2. Package them in large plastic bags or cover any cardboard boxes with plastic bags so rain won't ruin the items.
     
  3. Try to place them in plain sight so the driver can see them quickly and have them outside by 8am.
     
  4. Mark your items clearly for PVA and don't put them close to anything you don't want taken by accident.
     
  5. Drivers are often out till dark driving the routes. If your items have not been picked up by then, call our office
     
  6. Be sure to tell kids and family not to set their bikes or other items near the donations so they aren't picked up by mistake.
     
  7. If anything is taken by mistake, CALL us as quickly as possible. If we find out the same day, or first thing next morning, we can usually find your items. Further delay may allow the items to be priced and sold before we can retrieve them.
     
  8. If our pickup is scheduled on your trash pickup date, please place your items away from the curb so they are not accidentally discarded.
